Glen Helen to host the 2017 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations | Latest

Youthstream has announced the hosting venue for the 2017 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations will be Glen Helen Raceway in USA.

It will be the first time Glen Helen has hosted an MXoN and the first time since 2010 it has been contested in the USA, the last time being Lakewood, Colorado.

‘Since many years Glen Helen has been a devoted partner,’ Giuseppe Luongo, President of Youthstream said, ‘and I am delighted to be able to continue this strong partnership, it’s a real pleasure working together with Bud Feldkamp and his staff. USA is an important country for Motocross and it’s fabulous to be returning to Glen Helen with the best Motocross event of the year, the American fans are fantastic and deserve to have this unique event in their country and to be able to support their powerful US Team.’

Bud Feldkamp, President of Glen Helen Raceway stated: ‘Myself and the entire Glen Helen staff are extremely excited to host the 2017 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations. The opportunity to welcome the world of motocross to our back yard in Southern California, for the first time in its 70 year history, is something that we do not take lightly at Glen Helen. I look forward to doing everything in my power to make this a truly historicmotocross event for all the teams and fans from around the world.’

The 2016 MXoN is scheduled for Maggiora, Italy on the 24th & 25th of September.
