Jason Anderson Out for Remainder of 2017 Pro Motocross | Latest

Rockstar Energy Drink Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson has undergone surgery and will miss the remainder of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Anderson’s 2017 outdoors season has been littered with injuries starting with an eye injury at the opening round at Hangtown followed by a back injury sustained in practice before Southwick. Shortly after returning to racing, Anderson sustained an off-track hand injury which prevented him from finishing the Spring Creek National.

The Husqvarna rider’s surgery also raises the question of whether he will be fit enough to compete in three months time at the Sydney AUS-X Open November 11&12. However, AUS-X Open organisers are confident of his return, posting this message shortly after the American’s announcement.
