Gardiner, who won every single test in the Women’s class throughout the three days also claimed the outright honours in her class.

“It’s been a fantastic weekend,” beamed Gardiner, who made debut outing at the Trèfle lozérien AMV event.

“Today ended up better than what I expected, as I’m happy to improve on the grass tracks as there were no lines to pick from, which I like when I’m racing. So it was a great training for me.”

Gardiner has paid credit to the Moto Club lozérien, saying they did a top job in regards to making the tests and the whole show.

“The whole event was really exceptional. I take my hat off to the organisation as they all did a fantastic job putting this event together.

On top of that, the spectators were very supportive of me and it was really nice to feel welcome in my ‘adopted’ country this weekend here in Mende. I’ll be sure to come back and race this event again,” concluded Gardiner.

Gardiner will have a few weeks off now to prepare herself for the second round of the Women’s FIM Enduro GP World Championship, which will take place at Parádfürdó in Hungary on 23-25 June.
