Junior Stars Chase Honours This Weekend in Kurri Kurri | Latest

This weekend’s New South Wales Junior Track Championship meeting has attracted some of the nation’s best young riders to the Kurri Kurri Junior Motorcycle Club track, Dickson Road, Kurri Kurri.

These are not just ‘tomorrow’s stars racing for honours at Kurri Kurri – they are already stars in their own right with many already having compiled an extremely impressive list of championship wins.

This is the form of motorcycle racing that helped produce Australia’s most recent world champions in Speedway champion Chris Holder and Moto GP champion Casey Stoner.

Queensland and Victorian riders are coming to take on the best from the home state.

Riders from 7 through to 16 will be chasing title wins over the two days.

15-year-old Billy van Eerde from Singleton heads the strong contingent from the host club. He will be out to add three more title wins to his record.

Action from 10 am both Saturday and Sunday, 10 and 11 June.

Sunday costs $5 per car, $2 per bike.
