Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Toby Price has posted the 4th fastest time of the 3rd Stage of the Moroccan Merzouga Rally.
Female KTM rider and Price’s stablemate Laia Sainz continued to gain confidence on her KTM 450 Rally, placing 17th.
Overall, Price is 5th roughly 20 minutes behind Honda Rider Joan Barreda Bort with two stages to go, followed by Sainz in 15th, 1 and a half hours behind the leader.
KTM Rally Sport Manager Jordi Villadoms had the following to say: “We are really pleased with both our riders (Price and Sainz) – Toby’s pace is excellent and he is really working on his skills whilst keeping to a good rhythm. He’s fifth at the moment but still has a good shot at a podium. Laia is currently running 15th overall, which is a great result for her and she is also working very hard on her speed in the desert over these tough conditions.”
