Ryan Dungey wins ESPN Best Male Action Sports Athlete | Latest

Ryan Dungey was this week recognised for his achievements and was awarded ESPN Best Male Action Sports Athlete for the second year in a row.

Dungey was nominated for the award after his hugely successful 2015 season, which included 31 back-to-back podium finishes in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship and his third 450 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Voted in by his thousands of fans around the world, Dungey collected the converted award at the awards night at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Dungey is the first motocross and supercross rider to win the award and joins Travis Pastrana as the only other motorcycle rider to win the award – Pastrana won the award for his double backflip in 2006.
