Following a great season, Wilksch finishes the 2024 Australian Off-Road Championship in 4th place in the highly-competitive E2 class. “The season definitely didn’t start off to plan, racing the first 2 rounds with a broken hand, I knew I’d have some work ahead of me to gain back points to get into the championship hunt. It’s definitely been a tough year of racing but I’ve really enjoyed competing on the Beta RR 480 Racing.”

“Coming off the back of my knee reconstruction and only getting three rides on the RR 350 Racing before RD 1, this season was always going to be a building season for me, with the goal of regaining my fitness, getting used to the bike and collecting points. The fitness came back by the tail end of the season and we saw good pace at a number of the rounds which shows just how capable the Beta is.”

“This weekend the tracks were pretty fast. I knew I just had to safely get through the weekend to finish up 3rd. My bike was great over the weekend and it hasn’t missed a beat all year. It’s been a great experience being a part of the Beta Australia Race Team this year, to have the knowledge, experience and support of the other riders and their families and the team has been a massive part in getting me to the end of all 12 rounds. I’m really happy to finish my first full AORC season in 3rd. Last year I was a few points short of 3rd in the Championship after missing the South Australian rounds so I’m happy to get to 3rd this year.”

“It’s been a stand-out season for the Beta Motorcycles Australia Race Team, with more riders in more classes than ever before. The dedication, discipline and performance of the riders has been nothing short of impressive, and the results we’ve gained this year speak for themselves. Thank you to our riders for your dedication, on and off the race-track and to our sponsors for your support throughout the season.”
