The penultimate round of the 2025 EnduroGP World Championship took place in the Italian town of Darfo Boario Terme.

As usual, the event kicked off with Friday’s SuperTest, featuring a circuit dominated by natural obstacles. A light rainfall during the test left the ground extremely slippery. Despite the tough conditions, Dominik Olszowy set the second fastest time in Enduro3 and sixth overall in EnduroGP, while Àlex Puey finished third in Junior2 and seventh in Junior.

On Saturday, rain returned once again, forcing the cancellation of the extreme test and leaving the rest of the stages muddy. Dominik Olszowy, unfazed by such conditions, fought hard for the podium throughout the day, eventually finishing fourth in the highly competitive Enduro3 class. It was a complicated opening day for Àlex Puey who, despite setting strong early times, suffered a mechanical issue that forced him to retire.

On Sunday, better weather brought drier conditions, allowing for a stronger attack. Olszowy completed all fifteen specials of the day and repeated his fourth-place finish. Meanwhile, Àlex Puey improved his performance, finishing seventh in Junior and earning a well-deserved podium in J2 with an excellent third place.

With only one round left and after all the results so far, Dominik Olszowy sits 5th in Enduro3 with 120 points, while Àlex Puey is 6th in J1 with 94 points.

Other Rieju riders also delivered solid performances. Yago Domínguez took fourth and fifth in the Youth Cup, while Jordi Galera, riding his MR PRO 300i in Open2S, claimed double podiums over both race days, finishing third overall.

The EnduroGP World Championship will conclude in Zschopau (Germany) from October 17th to 19th. The RIEJU Factory Team will be closely watching its riders, as they have strong chances of defending the World Title in the EW class with Rachel Gutish, current leader with 105 points, while teammate Rosie Rowett holds second in the provisional overall standings with 94 points.

Dominik Olszowy:

“The rain and mud made the Italian round in Brescia a real challenge. However, I felt very confident on my Rieju MR300i while battling for the E3 podium. After two fun but demanding days, keeping a good pace on the slippery specials, we finished just one position short of the box, taking fourth place twice. With sixth overall in Friday’s SuperTest, I’m really happy with my riding—but even more motivated to finish the EnduroGP season strong at the final round in Germany.”

Àlex Puey:

“I’m really happy. On Saturday, things started out as we wanted, with a strong pace, but then we had a small issue and I had to retire. Luckily, we solved it on Sunday, and I was able to get on the podium. I’m very pleased—I posted good times throughout the second day. I want to thank the whole team for their work and the sponsors.
