Honda Australia has announced its 2026 Africa Twin range, featuring four distinct variants designed to meet the needs of adventure riders, from off-road explorers to long-distance tourers. Available with either a manual transmission or Honda’s renowned Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), the 2026 line-up includes the standard Africa Twin, Africa Twin ES, Africa Twin ES DCT, and Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES DCT. Each model has received updated graphics and styling inspired by Honda’s rich global rally racing heritage, while retaining the proven mechanical package that has made the Africa Twin a benchmark in the Adventure category.

Powered by Honda’s 1,084cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, every 2026 Africa Twin features Throttle by Wire technology with four pre-set riding modes – Tour, Urban, Gravel and Off-Road – plus a customisable USER mode. All models feature an adjustable rally windscreen, low centre-of-gravity design, selectable ABS, 7-Position Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), cruise control, density-optimised seat foam for enhanced long-distance comfort, tool-free seat height adjustment, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto connectivity via a 6.5-inch touchscreen display.

Featuring a slim, compact design, 18.8-litre fuel tank, fully adjustable Showa suspension and a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel. Suspension travel measures 230mm front and 220mm rear, delivering confidence across challenging terrain.

Building on the features of the standard model, the Africa Twin ES adds Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA™) suspension, with selectable suspension settings including Soft, Mid, Hard and Off-Road modes and electronically adjustable rear pre-load, as well as heated grips for added comfort on cold rides.
Africa Twin ES DCT – From $27,499 RRP
The Africa Twin ES DCT combines benefits of the Africa Twin ES with the added convenience of Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Riders can choose between fully automatic and manual shifting modes, while the dedicated G Switch enhances traction and reduces clutch slip during gear changes when riding on uneven terrain.
Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES DCT – From $29,899 RRP
Designed for riders covering bigger distances, the Adventure Sports ES DCT features a bigger 24.8-litre fuel tank, lower seat height, smaller 19-inch front wheel and shorter suspension travel for improved handling.
