Chinese motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO is preparing to officially launch in Australia and New Zealand, with its first models confirmed, local technical training underway and pricing and pre-orders set to open on October 8, 2026.

The initial Australian pre-order range will span sports, naked and motocross machinery, with five models already confirmed and the possibility of further additions before orders open.

Leading the road range is the 820RR, an 818cc inline-triple sportsbike based on the same platform being raced by Valentin Debise in WorldSSP.

It will be joined by the 500RR, a lightweight inline-four sportsbike available in both LAMS and unrestricted versions, and the naked 500F four-cylinder.

ZXMOTO is also heading straight for the dirt, with both the MX250 and MX450 motocross bikes confirmed for Australia.

Initial ZXMOTO Australian line-up:

  • 820RR – 818cc inline-triple sportsbike
  • 500RR – Inline-four sportsbike available in LAMS and unrestricted versions
  • 500F – Four-cylinder naked bike
  • MX250 – Motocross model
  • MX450 – Motocross model

An additional exclusive offering is also set to be revealed ahead of pre-orders opening.

Preparation for the Australian launch is already underway. ZXMOTO’s Australian technical team has returned from the company’s global manufacturing facility after working directly with its engineers on engine architecture, electronics, diagnostics and servicing. That training will now be passed on to the Australian dealer network before the first customer motorcycles arrive.

ZXMOTO has also confirmed the 450 Rally will join its Australian and New Zealand range, with the bike set to be developed on one of the biggest stages in off-road racing – the Dakar Rally.

Joyride Race Service has been appointed ZXMOTO’s official factory team for the Dakar project, with rally racer Tobias Ebster set to compete aboard the ZXMOTO 450 Rally.

The first phase of ZXMOTO’s Australian and New Zealand websites is now live, detailing its first six models, specifications and racing schedule, with the second phase to coincide with the October 8 pricing and pre-order announcement.
