The 2026 KTM XC CROSS COUNTRY range will arrive in Australia and New Zealand from November 2025, featuring updates across both the 2-stroke and 4-stroke lineups.

Over the last four years, KTM has made ongoing refinements to the XC platform. For 2026, the models retain the core elements: a steel frame with optimised wall thickness and revised shock mounts, a lightweight swingarm, and WP XACT closed-cartridge spring forks and rear shock.

The 2026 lineup includes:

  • KTM 250 XC
  • KTM 300 XC
  • KTM 250 XC-F
  • KTM 450 XC-F (Australia only)

Key technical features remain, including:

  • Pankl gearboxes
  • Throttle position sensor (TPS)
  • Electric start
  • Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) for setup customisation and GPS integration
  • Bi-composite plastics and rider triangle geometry for rider interface

Updates for 2026

Several component upgrades have been introduced across the range:

  • All models receive improved cooling via a revised radiator closure system designed for simpler, faster access and increased reliability.
  • A new protection cap has been added to the CPC fuel connector to better shield the injection system from dirt, dust, and water.
  • Two-stroke XC models now feature a revised wiring harness with updated fixation points and cable routing to improve durability and reduce the chance of electrical issues.
  • New graphics for 2026 feature increased in-mold orange coverage, purple highlights on the tank spoilers and fork guards, and a black frame and seat.
  • All models are now fitted with Dunlop AT82 tyres front and rear.

KTM has confirmed the 2026 XC range will be available through authorised KTM dealers across Australia and New Zealand starting in November 2025.
