KTM 50 Airbox

Free Trick

Trouble: When washing a KTM 50, water often gets past the air filter and runs down into the carburettor, causing problems next ride.
Trick: Before washing, stuff a clean rag tightly into the bottom of the airbox. Any water that sneaks past the filter will soak into the rag before reaching the carb.

More Air

Free Trick

Trouble: After fitting a pipe and other aftermarket parts to a KTM 85 or 125 two-stroke, the bike will need more airflow into the airbox.
Trick: Use a sharp blade to cut out the flap in the airbox cover. This lets in more air and helps the motor breathe properly.
