MXstore’s Battle In The Bush will return in 2026, with the four-hour motocross relay series confirmed for three events across Queensland and New South Wales.
The 2026 series will open at Warwick in Queensland on Sunday, July 12, before heading to QLD Moto Park on Saturday, August 8. The final round will take place at Appin in New South Wales on Sunday, September 13.
Battle In The Bush is run as a four-hour motocross relay pony express, with teams of three to four riders swapping transponders across the race. Classes include Open, Vets for riders aged 35 and over, and Mixed, which requires at least one female rider. The event is open to senior riders aged 16 and over.
Team entries are priced at $400, while single riders can enter for $125 and will be allocated to a team. Transponder hire is $25 per team, unless riders supply their own MyLaps unit.
Each event will include sign-on, scrutineering, practice, novelty riding events and the four-hour relay. Novelty events include the Motorex Barrel Challenge, Pirelli Slow Race and POD Rut Limbo before racing begins.
MXstore has confirmed each round will be limited to 40 teams, with presentations and prizes to follow racing. Event supporters include Motorex, Oakley, POD Active, Ballards, Yoshimura, Ryno Power, Pirelli and Barkbusters.
