Volunteer roles available for September 18–20 at Hidden Valley, with training provided and a gift pack included
Motorcycling Australia has opened registrations for volunteer marshals ahead of the 2026 MXGP of Australia, set to run in Darwin at the Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex from September 18–20.
With the FIM Motocross World Championship returning to the Top End after what MA describes as a highly successful 2025 event, the organisation is calling for volunteers who want a front-row role in the action–trackside.
Roles available
Volunteer positions are available across multiple areas, including:
- Flag Marshals
- Track Marshals
- Technical
- Marshal Support Services

What volunteers receive
Motorcycling Australia says volunteers will be supplied with an officials’ gift pack for the event, which includes:
- Two guest passes
- Invitation to a thank-you barbecue
- Three event shirts
- Lunch vouchers
- Discounted merchandise voucher (exclusive marshals’ discount)
- Additional event inclusions
Licence and training
A Motorcycling Australia Officials’ Licence is required, with MA noting there is no cost to apply for a Level 1 Officials’ Licence, which can be obtained through Motorcycling Australia.
No previous experience is necessary, and training will be provided for new marshals.
How to apply
Registration is now open via Motorcycling Australia’s volunteer marshal sign-up page.
Note: Minimum age requirements apply for volunteers under 18 and are outlined in the Motorcycling Australia Junior Officials Policy.
