Beta USA is adapting its sales model to the COVID-19 pandemic by offer customers direct delivery on 'Build Your Own Beta' purchases.
‘Build Your Own Beta’ is Beta USA’s custom build program that allows the customer to build their motorcycle to suit their needs. Normally a customer would have their custom bike delivery to a dealer of their choice but given the current situation, Beta USA is now allowing for home delivery.
Customers can choose from hundreds of different parts during the purchase stage of any Beta model and Beta USA will fit the parts and ship the bike directly to their door, fully tested and ready to ride.
The list of available parts is extensive, to say the least, and you could go broke very quickly if you got carried away.
Beta USA is only offering home delivery for ‘Build Your Own Beta’ and stock models must still be purchased through a dealer.
The home delivery option is for a limited time only, after which ‘Build Your Own Beta’ will be shipped to a nominated dealer.
ADB spoke to Patrick Lowry from Beta Australia who said there are no plans to introduce a similar system in Australia. However, Beta Australia does sell parts direct to customers through its online store.
