Chad Reed has rewritten the record books after making his 228th AMA Supercross Main Event start on the weekend at Tampa.
Former professional supercross rider Mike LaRocco previously held the record with 227 starts.
Reed is also fourth in all-time main event wins with 44, first in podium finishes with 131 and first in top-five finishes with 158.
