Expand the functionality of KTM’s leading dirtbike technology by retrofitting the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) to all KTM SX-F and XC-F motorcycles manufactured in 2023 and 2024. Following the positive reception of the 2024 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION and 2024 KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION, KTM has now made the CUO accessible as a KTM PowerParts addition for KTM SX-F and XC-F models across the 2023 and 2024 collections.
The CUO, a key feature of the 2024 FACTORY EDITIONs and the foundation of the bikes raced in the 2024 AMA Supercross and Motocross, is easily installed with durable hardware. The CUO, positioned between the right fork leg and the GPS component on the redesigned front fender, opens the door to advanced riding experiences through the free KTMConnect App.
The benefits are three-fold: simplified engine management, suspension setup, and comprehensive analysis via the RIDER section of the KTMConnect App. The CUO, a two-part system, enables racers and users to activate various wireless connectivity functions, allowing full customization of their KTM for different track conditions and the ability to analyze and enhance their on-track performance.
Regarding KTM SX-F and XC-F motors, riders can choose PRIME (toggling levels of Traction Control) or ADVANCED settings (engine braking, throttle response, traction control, and launch control), along with engaging the Quickshifter. Presets for specific terrain such as SAND, GRAVEL, HARD PACK, DRY, and WET parameters are also available.
Selecting the SAG ASSISTANT or SUSPENSION SETTINGS tabs on KTMConnect provides recommendations, allowing further personalization based on weight, skill set, track, or weather conditions.
RIDER* maximizes the potential of the CUO through a collaboration with analysis experts LitPro. RIDER not only breaks down lap-by-lap motorcycle data but also serves as a ‘virtual coach,’ providing concise information on each session. Utilizing data collected from various parameters, RIDER calculates a rider’s trajectory and analytics to optimize their course and beat the chrono. After the ride, riders can share their recordings and expand their community moto experience. Adding a heart rate monitor provides even more in-depth insights.
