Ducati reveals render of DesertX Concept | News

Scrambler Ducati Think Tank has released a render of the DesertX. Based on a Scrambler 1100, the DesertX looks to be off-road focused.

It’s fitted with a 21” front wheel and 18” rear wrapped in with Pirelli Scorpion Rally Tyres. Suspension looks to be chunky with plenty of travel and the handlebar is motocross-style.

The overall style celebrates Edi Orioli’s 1990 Dakar winning Cagiva Elefant 900, which was powered by a Ducati V-twin.

The headlight, dash and fairing set-up is taken straight from a Dakar-style rally bike and the tank looks big enough to support adventure riding.

We are huge fans of the Ducati Multistrada Super Enduro and Desert Sled so we’re pumped for this new DesertX Concept, we hope to find out more at EICMA November 7-10.
