Team USA’s Eli Tomac, Justin Cooper and Chase Sexton ended United State’s 11-year drought with a win at the 2022 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations on home soil in RedBud, Michigan.
“It felt like a redemption” said Eli after the race finale “I just first off, I want to say how proud I am of my teammates, Chase and Justin. This is truly a team event and there is no race like this. Yesterday started great for us for the qualifying heats and then the rain this morning. This really levelled the playing field but we came through strong in these muddy conditions. 11 years is a long time, so I’m just proud of my teammates and everyone who is part of Team USA, this is very special for us”.
