Fifth Place Finish for Jett Lawrence in St. Louis | News

GEICO Honda rider Jett Lawrence put in a strong performance at the St. Louis round of the AMA Supercross to finish fifth overall.

The 16-year-old was running in second for most of the race, coming within one second of race leader Austin Forkner. Unfortunately, a run-in with a tough block bent Lawrence’s brake pedal back which locked the rear brake on forcing him to pit.

Lawrence rejoined the race to finish fifth.

Gave it everything I had last night. Unfortunately I clipped a damn tough block which wrapped my rear brake around my peg and locked on my brake causing me to come into pit lane.
