Gas Gas Motorcycles Australia rider Jade Gartlan secured victory over the weekend at the Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro in Victoria winning the Expert Over 35 class on the 2018 EC300.
After the 3 hour cut-off, Jade was able to complete 5 laps in a time of 3hr 17mins, his closest rival 13 mins behind. His performance was even more remarkable from starting in 69th position and finishing inside the top 10 outright of the day, grabbing ninth out of 112 competitors.
“We are extremely happy to get a first-place result in our first race since taking on the Gas Gas brand in Australia and with the all-new 2018 platform which proved faultless in one of Australia’s most gruelling motorcycle races. Supported by many Gas Gas fans, the Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro lived up to its reputation providing great entertainment for spectators, whilst competitors face one of the toughest enduro events on the calendar with the treacherous tracks and obstacle course.
