Gravity Media, a leading global provider of production and content, and media services and facilities, is empowering Tourism and Events Northern Territory (NT) with production requirements and technical services for the broadcast of the MXGP of Australia, the championship-deciding finale of the 2026 FIM World Motocross Championship.
The partnership reflects Gravity Media’s growing global presence in the live motorsport industry and bolsters its relationship with Tourism and Events NT following the successful delivery of the event in 2025.
Gravity Media is responsible under the agreement for the complete outside broadcast technology for the event including 14 cameras and EVS capabilities, ensuring reliable, all-screens coverage of the track and onsite studio hosting. Ensuring the MXGP of Australia is seamlessly delivered to more than 100 international territories, Gravity Media will deploy a state-of-the-art outside broadcast unit, satellite and uplink facilities and event communication solutions.
The weekend of 18–20 September 2026 marks the season finale of the FIM Motocross World Championship, which began with the MXGP of Argentina on 8 March. The world’s leading riders will take to Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin across the MXGP, MX2 and FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship (WMX) classes.
Collaborating closely with Infront, Gravity Media will deliver coverage of the MXGP of Australia across Australia on Stan Sport and 9Network, and globally in tandem with major international broadcast platforms including CBS Sports Network, RACER Network, DIRECTV, Eurosport, Discovery+, Star Sports, JioHotstar, HBO Max, FOX TUBI, BandSports, TNT Sports, PLAY SPORTS, VRT, SRG SSR, Automoto La Chaine, La Chaine L’Equipe, Sport TV, TV Galicia, TV Catalunya, RAI PLAY, NOS, GP1, Prima Sport, TRT, MAX, and Go3 Sport.
