Herlings out with broken collarbone | News

KTM Factory Racing has confirmed current FIM Motocross World Championship MXGP points leader, Jeffrey Herlings, will miss this weekend’s Lombardia round at Ottobiano in Italy with a broken collarbone.

Herlings sustained the injury in a practice crash at Berghem in Holland. The 23-year-old has undergone surgery to fix the fractured right collarbone which broke near a plate that was inserted for a previous injury.

KTM says the winner of 8 from 10 Grands Prix this season will miss this weekend’s MXGP of Italy at Lombardia but hopes he’ll be back from the Grand Prix of Indonesia on 1 July.
