GEICO Honda's Hunter Lawrence has expressed disappointment with his performance on the weekend at the Southwick National where he finished 11th overall after placing 9-13.
Lawrence didn’t have his usual late-moto pace, relegating him to ninth in Moto 1 and 13 in Moto 2.
“Tough pill to take at Southwick this weekend,” said the Lawrence. “I went from feeling really good in the opening part of the day and then having one of the worst days of my career in the second part of the day. I’m looking forward to RedBud and putting this weekend behind us. We’ll keep building and moving forward.”
The Queenslander then took to Instagram to express his disappointment.
“My apologies to all my team, sponsors and supporters. I was at the wrong race yesterday. I should have been at Mammoth Mountain racing amateurs. What a joke of a day, will sort my sh#t out for next weekend, one to forget.”
