Husqvarna Motorcycles Announces 2018 Off-Road Model Recall | Latest

Husqvarna Motorcycles today announced the recall of 2018 FE, TE, FX, TX, FC and TC models for a thorough inspection on their MAGURA brake callipers.

Due to deviations in the manufacturing process at Husqvarna Motorcycles’ official supplier, brake calliper assemblies might be incomplete with the anti-rattle plates and cotters possibly missing in the models referred to above.

Therefore, both front and rear callipers on all affected Husqvarna Motorcycles must be inspected for completeness by fully trained technicians.

Customers who own one of the affected motorcycles are being informed by a personal letter and asked to immediately contact an authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer to arrange an appointment for inspection and replacement.

In addition, all Husqvarna owners can check online in the ‘Service’ area of Husqvarna Motorcycles website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall.

HQV information related to Australian market:
The recall applies to a specific VIN range in the models listed. There are no VINS or vehicles released to customers in relation to this recall from HQV authorised dealers.

Further info on all authorised dealers can be found on the ‘Dealer Section’ of Husqvarna Motorcycles website.
