Husqvarna Motorcycles has issued a safety recall covering 2022-2024 enduro and cross-country motorcycles equipped with Braktec braking systems, with affected bikes requiring replacement rear brake calipers.
During market monitoring, it was identified that, under certain riding conditions, excessive loads may occur on the rear brake caliper, which could result in the rear brake caliper breaking. As a result, the rear brake caliper, including the caliper bracket, must be replaced on all motorcycles subject to the campaign, Husqvarna Motorcycles has confirmed.
While it is Husqvarna’s intention to contact customers by personal letter, owners of the above-mentioned models should contact their local authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealership to schedule an appointment to have the rear brake caliper replaced, free of charge.
In addition, customers can easily verify whether their motorcycle is affected by visiting the “Service” section on the official website. The replacement will be performed free of charge and exclusively by authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers. A full list of authorised dealerships is available on the Husqvarna Motorcycles website to help customers quickly find assistance.
Husqvarna Motorcycles is taking these immediate and preventive steps to eliminate any potential risk. By replacing the affected components on all motorcycles concerned, the company is reinforcing its commitment to rider safety and long-term trust, while ensuring peace of mind for customers.
