Rockstar Energy Drink Husqvarna MX2 rider, Jed Beaton, has fractured vertebrae in a crash while practising at Lacapelle motocross track.
The Tasmanian local will miss several rounds of the FIM Motocross World Championship, which starts this weekend with Round 1 in Argentina.
“So devastated to say I won’t be lining up at Argentina,” said Beaton. “A crash yesterday at Lacapelle left me with a few fractures in my vertebrae. I will do my best to be back at the GP’s as fast as possible! Thanks to the whole team for support and all hard work through this whole offseason. We will be back soon.”
This year will be Beaton’s debut season for Rockstar Husqvarna after competing for Kawasaki FHR Racing Team last year and several rounds for HRC Honda in 2017.
