Jed Beaton Out of MXoN | Latest

The Australian Motocross of Nations team has been rocked yet again with another devastating injury, this time to MX2 hopeful Jed Beaton.

The 2016 Motul MX2 Champion announced yesterday via social media that he has suffered a broken collarbone after crashing during a training session at Lommel, home of the MXGP of Belgium. The announcement comes two weeks after MX1 rider Kirk Gibbs suffered was forced to miss MXoN due to a broken femur from a crash while training for The 2016 Australian Supercross Championship.

2016 was going to be the Tasmanian’s debut appearance in the MX2 team at MXoN.

ADB wishes Jed a speedy recovery and we hope to see him back on the bike as soon as possible.

Devastated to say that I won’t be throwing on the green and gold to represent my country at MXON I had a small crash on Friday riding at Lommel and fractured my collarbone. Very sorry to everyone that made this possible and so sorry to let everyone down.
