Josh Strang joins Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki | News

Josh Strang has inked a deal with Babbitt's Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing to compete for the team's newly-former off-road program in the 2019-2020 U.S. off-road racing seasons.

The deal will see Strang contest the Grand National Cross Country Championship and the Full Gas Sprint Enduro Championship, a series in which he will be defending his title.

The former GNCC XC1 champ will be one of two team riders enlisted to compete aboard the all-new KX450 in the XC1 class, Strang’s teammate is still to be confirmed.

Strang is no stranger to Kawasaki machinery, the New South Welshman raced aboard a KX450F as recently as 2013 where he finished fourth in the GNCC XC1 class.

“I’m super excited to announce that I will be racing the new KX450 for Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing for 2019-2020,” Strang said about the signing. “It’s crazy getting back on the brand that started my racing itch back in 1996 on a KX60. I have so many good memories on these bikes and I can’t wait to make more! Thank you to everyone that has helped make this happen!”
