Kawasaki Recalls Versys for Brake Light Fault | Latest

Kawasaki has issued a recall of the Versys-X 300 for an issue related to the tail light which may become loose during normal operation, allowing the light bulb to fall out.

Product Safety Australia has provided the following details.

What are the defects?

The tail/brake light globe socket assembly may become loose during normal operation, allowing the light bulb to fall out.

What are the hazards?

This will result in an inoperative tail/brake light, which has the potential to cause an accident.

What should consumers do?

Affected owners will be contacted by Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd and directed to return their motorcycle to an Authorised Kawasaki Dealer for the replacement of the existing tail/brake light globe socket with a revised part, free of charge.
