The newest ride park in Victoria's south-east, Krusic's is developing rapidly.
Krusic’s Ride Park, Gippsland
Developed in 2014, Krusic’s Ride Park is one very fresh facility, and one built for all-year riding. The six tracks are groomed on a regular basis and, even if it does dry out, there are three water trucks on site and a substantial water supply to help convert dust to loam.
The tracks are good for all-weather riding, with the exception being the one clay track. The others are sandy loam and soak up rain well.
Set on about 40ha, there is plenty of room, with the four senior tracks varying from 1.6 to 2.6km in length. The beginners’ area is a fenced-off section occupied by four earthmoving tyres for the kids to negotiate, while the minibike track has berms and jumps.
Each circuit is fenced to prevent track hopping – which can be dangerous – with the pit area parking centrally located.
While Krusic’s currently only caters for motocross riders, the owners are planning a supercross track, along with an endurocross course, while an enduro loop is also on the drawing board.
There’s plenty of camping in Parks Victoria facilities along nearby Ninety Mile Beach, with fuel and a general store nearby. There’s also a variety of accommodation in surrounding towns.
In only six months, Krusic’s already has hosted a number of coaching days and birthday parties. It is available for club day hire.
