KTM halts production for two weeks in fight against Coronavirus | News

KTM's parent company PIERER Mobility Group has announced it will stop production in its Mattighofen factory due to interruptions in the supply chain from northern Italy as a result of Coronavirus.

Many of the company’s suppliers are based in Italy, which is badly affected by Coronavirus.

The factory will be shut down for two weeks between March 30 – April 10 in an effort to stabilize the company’s supply chain and prevent the spread of the virus.

PIERER Mobility Group has ensured the shutdown will no impact the supply of models for the upcoming release of its new range. This includes KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas.
