The CFMOTO CX-2E battery is proving to be an absolute workhorse and outlasts most other kids electric bike batteries.
We’ve been running the CFMOTO CX-2E for seven months and we’re really starting to get familiar with it. The motor’s torque and impressive top speed remain standout features, and Jaxon’s confidence in handling the bike has grown significantly. The bike’s weight and width continue to be the only drawbacks of this bike.
Jax’s love for speed hasn’t waned, and he frequently opts for the fastest mode, which still requires me to keep a vigilant eye on him. The three drive modes are an excellent feature.
The rear brake pedal, initially a source of confusion for Jaxon, has now become second nature. His transition from hand-operated brakes to the foot-operated rear brake has smoothed out significantly. He’s been practicing to use the foot-operated brake with plenty of skids and now it is second nature.
The width of the CFMOTO CX-2E also presents some challenges. The bike is slightly wide, making it awkward for Jaxon to grip with his knees and stand up comfortably. This has required some adjustment in his riding posture and technique, adding another layer to the learning process. While he’s getting better at it, the bike’s design does pose an extra challenge for a young rider.
One aspect that deserves more attention is the bike’s battery life. The CFMOTO CX-2E’s battery is truly epic, outlasting any other electric bike Jax has ridden. This longevity means fewer interruptions and more continuous riding time, which is a big plus for Jax. Impressively, the bike has never run out of battery before Jax has, allowing for loads of riding time.
Overall, the CFMOTO CX-2E continues to be a fantastic option for Jaxon. He loves the speed and little screen and his growing skills in handling the bike, especially with the rear brake, continue to impress me.
