Firepower Honda's privateer rider Max Anstie, pilots his Honda CRF250R to victory in Philadelphia in an incredible return.

The privateer Firepower Honda team have clinched their second main event victory in as many years in the 2024 AMA Supercross 250 East. Despite a challenging season, Max Anstie’s undeniable speed has been a constant. With the team and Max Anstie qualifying first in 50% of the rounds, securing two heat race wins, and leading the championship, their dominance was reaffirmed this weekend in Philadelphia with another main event triumph.

Max executed a flawless and strategic race, opting to start on the outside of the starting box with confidence. Remaining patient while riding in second for half of the race, he waited for the opportune moment to make his move. Once Max ANstie surged to the front, he showcased championship-level performance, ultimately securing victory in Philadelphia.

Reflecting on his win, Anstie credited the collective effort of the team, MTF, and everyone supporting him. He emphasized the exceptional performance of the Honda 250 and the stellar chassis provided by Factory Connection, underscoring their unwavering dedication to success.

“It’s an incredible night for me, my team, our sponsors, and especially my dad. The bike is amazing, and I’m truly grateful to Factory Connection for their support, we have the best chassis. We’ve transformed this bike from a production-based Honda 250, and I hope our results inspire other privateers. Tonight was truly unforgettable,” expressed Anstie

With only 5 points separating 3rd to 6th place in the championship standings, the race for third overall is intensifying. Anstie and the team remain focused on finishing strong, with Team Principal Martin Davalos expressing gratitude for the team’s achievements and determination to secure another podium finish.

Dean Wilson showcased remarkable determination, racing within the top 10 until the final lap despite returning from a shoulder injury. His resilience highlights his ability to compete alongside the Factory riders.
