The CFMOTO 800MT-X, the latest addition to the brand’s growing adventure motorcycle range, has been released. Designed for riders who demand superior off-road capability without sacrificing long-distance touring comfort, the 800MT-X redefines what’s possible in the mid-capacity adventure segment.

Expanding the 800MT Line-Up: More Adventure, More Capability
The CFMOTO 800MT-X builds upon the proven success of the 800MT platform with a sharper focus on off-road performance. Sitting between the existing Touring and flagship Explore models, the MT-X features enhanced suspension, greater ground clearance, and a 21-inch/18-inch wheel combination for superior control over rugged terrain. It represents a key step forward in CFMOTO’s adventure lineup, providing riders with greater versatility and confidence to explore new horizons.

  • More Torque, More Power: Powered by CFMOTO’s redesigned KTM-derived LC8c 799cc parallel-twin engine producing 95hp (70kW) and 87Nm of torque, with enhanced mid-range performance for improved off-road tractability.
  • Serious Off-Road Capability: Lightweight chromoly steel frame, trellis subframe, and 240mm ground clearance ensure superior off-road manoeuvrability.
  • Premium Suspension Setup: 48mm USD forks and a rear monoshock with 230mm of travel, both fully adjustable for preload, compression, and rebound damping.
  • Technology & Rider Aids: Bosch’s advanced 6-axis IMU with switchable cornering ABS, traction control, cruise control, a bi-directional quick shifter, and a power-assisted slipper clutch.
  • Adventure-Ready Fuel Range: A 22.5L fuel tank extends ride time between refuels, with an optional 8L accessory tank for even greater endurance.
  • Smart TFT Display: A vertically oriented 7-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth, and CFMOTO Ride app integration.

Australia Pricing & Availability
The CFMOTO 800MT-X will be released with a special introductory price of $14,990 Ride Away, including 12 months of registration, available until June 30, 2025.

From July 1, 2025, the price will revert to the standard Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $15,990 Ride Away.

The CFMOTO 800MT-X will be available in Australian dealerships from late February 2025 in the choice of either Zephyr Blue or Nebula Black colour schemes and will be backed by CFMOTO’s 3-year warranty program.
