We have just bolted up a GET SX1 ECU to our 2025 Honda CRF250R long-term test bike. Honda, HRC and GET worked together closely to develop this product so if it is good enough for Jett and Hunter Lawrence then it is good enough for us.

Fitting the ECU is straightforward; it plugs into the wiring harness behind the left side number plate taking up the position of the stock ECU. Then a wiring harness for the handlebar switch is run under the tank and up to the handlebar where the map switch is fitted. We also opted to fit the wifi module to the bike so we can connect the WiGET app to give us tuning capabilities, as well as preprogrammed maps we can select from. This allows us to better match the bikes power delivery to specific track surfaces and conditions.

We are also planning on fitting a GET second injector to the CRF250R, which will increase the top-end power to haul us around a little easier. Stick with us and we will let you know how it all goes. We might even drop you guys a free ADB-approved map that you will be able to upload into your own GET ECUs using the WiGET app.
