It’s always exciting getting new gear, especially when you’re old gear looks like it’s been through a war. You feel factory and the smell, mmmm that smell. But buying a box load of Leatt gear is something else. Leatt gear is always top-notch in quality and second to none in performance.
My first impressions and what drew me in were the bright colourways. They are pretty out there and not something I normally wear but ADB Ed Mitch requested something bright to stand out on covers. Once I tried everything on, I couldn’t get over the comfort in the boots and helmet. The padding in both is soft and plush, and the boots give more of a soft sneaker feel rather than a set of rugged work boots. The helmet is ultra-comfortable and comes with a set of Leatt goggles that fit perfectly and match the gear set.
I have no plans to crash-test any of this gear, but it’s nice knowing that if I do happen to take a dirt sample, I’ll be wearing some of the highest-quality protective gear on the market. How all this gear wears over time is something I’ll report back on after a few months, but my experience with Leatt gear in the past has been very positive. Looking at this new 2026 range, I can’t see why that would change.
Leatt gear has always delivered top quality and high protection and these new designs and colourways look pretty flash too. Stay tuned.
