The brand Mobius is not new to making braces. It is the company that makes the famous wrist braces that tighten with cables around the wrist joint to protect the joint from hyperextension. This brace became really popular worldwide when Ken Roczen began to wear one after his gruesome wrist injury that nearly ended his career. Now we have a set of their knee braces to test called the Mobius X8 Knee Braces.

The Mobius knee brace, just like the wrist brace, includes the innovative continuous cable routing system to provide support and protection to the knee joint. The brace is fully lined with EVA foam and has an adjustable dial that can be reached through the pants.

The Mobius brace is easy and comfortable to put on right away. The straps are numbered so you know which order to tighten them in making them nearly foolproof. The brace covers the entire knee joint and doesn’t leave any gaps or spaces to take a hit and the large dial on the front of the brace makes them super easy to adjust.

I’ve always found after a moto or two that braces tend to settle in and stretch a little, needing retightening, but with the Mobius brace you can retension it by twisting the large dial through your pants instead of dacksing yourself in the pits to tighten the straps.

Knee braces aren’t just something you can test over a weekend so we are going to give these things a pounding for a few months and see how they shape up. I already have two old knee injuries from the past 30 years of racing motorcycles so let’s see if they can hold me together and keep me riding
