The Shot Aerolite Devil Black jersey is cut in a tight fit and immediately feels more racey than trail. Fully perforated, pre-curved nylon sleeves and vented mesh panels move plenty of air, while the collar and cuffs stay low-profile and unobtrusive. The longer tail and silicone grippers do their job keeping the jersey in place. Fit is on the slimmer side, and most riders will likely want to go up a size compared to their usual gear.

The Aerolite pants tip the scales at 450g in a size 32. Despite the low weight, they don’t feel flimsy. The pre-shaped cut suits an aggressive riding position. It’s got good ventilation and fancy “aramid-fibre” knee inserts for more protection against heat. A reinforced seat, ventilated lining, micrometric buckle, anti-mud zip and Velcro waist adjustment are the extra, high-end features that come with these pants.

The Aerolite helmet weighs around 1250g – it’s light without feeling fragile – and runs a fiberglass shell. Safety tech includes MIPS and D3O impact protection, backed up by a quick-release cheek pad system for emergencies. Ventilation is strong, with 10 intake and nine exhaust vents that kept my head cool, and the liner is fully removable, washable, and dries quickly after use. Fit and comfort were immediate highlights, with no pressure points.

After roughly six hours on the bike, the overall impression is that the Aerolite Devil Black kit is super functional. It’s comfortable, light, and well-ventilated across the board. The only unanswered question at this stage is long-term durability, which will take more time to assess, but early signs are positive. For riders chasing lightweight, breathable gear, this setup is solid.
