Recall: Husqvarna TR 650 Terra and TR 650 Strada 2013/2014 | Latest

A recall has been issued for the Husqvarna TR 650 Terra and TR 650 Strada for Model Years 2013 and 2014 due to "potential occasional stalling".

Following extensive market monitoring, there have been isolated cases of occasional stalling in the engines of the TR 650 Terra and TR 650 Strada models.

To ensure that all customers can continue enjoying the bike in all riding conditions, Husqvarna Motorcycles consider it a matter of importance to update the ECU software on these two above- mentioned models.

Customers who own one of the affected motorcycles will be informed by a personal letter and asked to immediately contact an authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer to arrange an appointment for updating their ECU.

What are the defects?

Potential occasional stalling in the engines of TR 650 Terra and TR 650 Strada model vehicles.

What are the hazards?

If the engine stalls, this could lead to dangerous riding conditions and pose a safety hazard to the rider and other road users.

What should consumers do?

Owners will be sent a letter to advise them of the recall. Owners should contact an authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer to arrange a booking as the ECU of the vehicle has to be remapped at an external supplier’s facility.
