Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team’s Janis and Karlis Reisulis have placed fourth overall at the 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations as part of Team Latvia. The brothers both performed well at the 79th edition of the prestigious event, with J. Reisulis claiming sixth overall in MX2 while K. Reisulis competed in the MXGP class and placed ninth. Rounding out a strong day for riders on Yamaha machinery, Glenn Coldenhoff helped Team Netherlands to third overall.

Following their successful campaigns in the 2026 FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship, the Reisulis brothers headed to the hillside circuit of Ernée in the north-west of France for the season-ending FIM Motocross of Nations.

Competing in the MX2 class, J. Reisulis delivered improving results across his two races. After placing 20th in the opening MXGP/MX2 race, he then placed 12th in race two that combined the MX2 and Open classes, and he crossed the finish line as the sixth rider aboard an MX2 machine. On the day, J. Reisulis claimed sixth overall in class to round out a successful 2026 season.

K. Reisulis stepped up to the MXGP class for the event and impressed aboard the larger-capacity machine. The 20-year-old delivered 13-16 results for ninth overall in the MXGP class.
