Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki’s Cedric Soubeyras continued his strong start to the 2026 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship, finishing fourth overall at Auckland’s North Harbour Stadium.
Following his podium finish at the opening round in Townsville, the Frenchman delivered consistent 4-5-4 results across the three SX1 finals to narrowly miss another podium appearance aboard his KX450.
Teammate Ryan Alexanderson also continued his SX1 campaign, finishing eighth overall as he works to establish consistency in the premier class.
The Australian recorded ninth-place finishes in the opening two finals aboard his KX450 before securing eighth overall for the night.
In SX2, Queensland-based JPM 360 Kawasaki rider Jayce Cosford endured a difficult second round aboard his KX250.
Cosford finished 17th overall and will be looking to improve his results as the championship returns to Australia.
With the Auckland round complete, Kawasaki’s riders now face a short turnaround before Round 3 of the championship at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong, Victoria, on 7 November.
The AUSX Open will provide Soubeyras with another opportunity to challenge for the SX1 podium, while Alexanderson and Cosford look to move further up the standings.
