Low cost 149cc four-stroke single arriving from April priced at $3,290 ride-away

Suzuki Australia has added the DR150 to its Australian lineup – a rugged and versatile new addition designed to deliver dependable performance across a wide range of riding conditions.

Built to handle both work-focused duties and recreational riding, the DR150 offers a practical and accessible option for farmers, hobby riders and entry-level motorcyclists seeking a reliable machine capable of tackling light off-road terrain and private property use.

At the heart of the DR150 is a compact and efficient 149cc air-cooled, single-cylinder four-stroke engine, producing approximately 11.8 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 11.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Paired with a five-speed transmission, the engine delivers responsive low-rev performance well suited to off-road and recreational riding.

Engineered with durability and ease of ownership in mind, the DR150 features both electric and kick-start systems, allowing riders added confidence in remote or demanding environments. A high-tensile steel frame keeps the overall wet weight to approximately 139 kg, contributing to manageable handling and durability.

Designed for real-world practicality and recreational use, the DR150 features a 12.5 litre fuel tank, 839 mm seat height and 244 mm ground clearance, providing riders with versatility and confidence across a variety of unsealed and rural terrain.

Additional features include semi dual-sport tyres (19-inch front and 17-inch rear), a digital instrument display, front disc brake with rear drum brake, and lighting designed to support early starts or long days on the farm, all engineered to deliver dependable performance in off-road and recreational riding conditions.

The DR150 is a new addition to Suzuki’s lineup of lightweight off-road motorcycles in Australia, delivering rugged performance and versatility for recreational and work-focused riding.

The DR150 will arrive in Australian dealerships from April and will be available in Metallic Dazzling Cool Blue for an attractive ride-away price of $3,290, supported with a 12-month warranty.
