The King of MX Final in Nowra THIS WEEKEND! | News

The King of MX is set to take over the Nowra Motoplex this June long weekend, as the best motocross racers across all age groups battle it out to become the NSW State Motocross Champion.

Championships will be won over three races, while the King and Queen will be crowned after 10-minute feature races. The King and Queen take home $10,000 each.

In just its second year, the King of MX has grown to become the largest motocross event in Australia, bringing together riders of all ages, across all classes, as they battle it out for their share of an impressive $53,000 in cash and prizes.
MNSW CEO Dave Cooke: “I’m really excited to get to Nowra this weekend. Brad Harvie (Club President), and Tyson our venue manager, have been working hard, battling bushfires and putting in place contingencies for the countrywide lack of water, to ensure the final goes off without a hitch. After six qualifying events around the state, where in excess of 1500 racers competed for their place at the final, we have over 460 entrants, and expect in excess of 1500 people through the gates over the weekend to watch our State Champions earn their titles – and of course to see our King and Queen of MX feature races on Monday. I can’t wait for the first gate to drop on Saturday morning.’’
