In tricky conditions at Round 4 of the 2026 Australian ProMX Championship, Raceline Husqvarna TDUB Racing Team rider Todd Waters charged to an impressive fourth overall at Toowoomba on Sunday, while retaining fifth in the championship standings at the series halfway mark.
Waters entered his home state round in Queensland looking to rebound from a challenging Gillman outing, doing so from the outset by qualifying sixth in the opening MX1 session before powering his Husqvarna FC 450 to sixth in the MX1 Pole Shootout.

The former national MX1 Champion then delivered a convincing fourth-place finish in Moto 1, while fifth in Moto 2 earned Waters fourth overall for the weekend and a valuable haul of championship points.

“Today was good!” said Waters. “I actually didn’t feel great in Moto 1, so we went back and made some changes after that one, which translated well in Moto 2. I was right up there, battling the top guys and in contention for the podium, which was awesome. I lost it towards the end of the second one – that was a bit disappointing – but I feel like I really showed speed this weekend. Appin is a place that gels for me, so I want to do some solid work between now and then and try to take that pace all the way to the chequered flag.”

Round 5 of the series will take place at New South Wales’ hard-packed Appin circuit on June 14.
