Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled a new range of Special Edition Tiger models for 2026, introducing Alpine and Desert variants across both the Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200 line-ups.
The new editions bring updated specifications, colour schemes, and equipment inspired by two of the world’s most distinct riding environments; the Alps and the desert.

The Alpine Edition is based on Triumph’s GT Pro models, with new Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black paint accented by Aegean Blue graphics on the Tiger 900, and dual colour options available for the Tiger 1200. Designed for riders seeking touring comfort, the Alpine versions include new styling elements, updated graphics, and an Akrapovič silencer fitted as standard. Both also gain additional engine protection bars.
The Desert Edition takes its base from the Rally Pro models, focusing on off-road capability. The Tiger 900 Desert Edition comes in Urban Grey and Sapphire Black with Baja Orange highlights, while the Tiger 1200 Desert Edition features two paint options reflecting its off-road character. These models add a standard Akrapovič silencer and fuel-tank protection bars.

All four Special Editions share Triumph’s familiar three-cylinder “T-plane” engines. The Tiger 900 continues to use its 888 cc triple producing 108 PS and 90 Nm, while the Tiger 1200 retains its 1160 cc triple producing 150 PS and 130 Nm. Both engines meet Euro 5+ emissions standards.
The Tiger 900 Alpine uses 45 mm Marzocchi forks offering 180 mm of travel, while the Desert Edition upgrades to 45 mm Showa forks with 240 mm of travel. Braking is handled by twin 320 mm Brembo Stylema front discs and a 255 mm rear disc. The Tiger 1200 Special Editions feature Showa semi-active suspension with 200 mm of travel, tubeless spoked wheels, and Brembo Stylema brakes.

Additional updates for the Tiger 1200 range include heated rider and pillion seats, and the addition of Blind Spot Assist and Lane Change Assist — standard features for the first time on Triumph’s 20-litre models.
Both Tiger 900 and 1200 Special Editions include a 7-inch TFT display with MyTriumph connectivity and multiple riding modes. Riders can further tailor comfort with optional low or heated seats.

Each model also offers over 50 genuine Triumph accessories, including luggage options and comfort upgrades. The new Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200 Alpine and Desert Special Editions are available now in Triumph dealerships, with pricing starting from $25,990 rideaway.
