VIDEO: Adam Cianciarulo run over by Cooper Webb | News

Adam Cianciarulo's first race back in over four months did not go to plan after the 450SX class rookie crashed out of the Main Event.

The Factory Kawasaki rider crashed in the rhythm section during the opening minutes of the Main Event and was run over by KTM’s Cooper Webb, who was unable to avoid AC.

Footage shows Eli Tomac and Webb in close pursuit of Cianciarulo when the crash happened. With no way of stopping, Tomac ran over AC’s bike while Webb, with nowhere to go, is seen running straight over him.

Cianciarulo, who was returning to action after not only a long break due to the Coronavirus pandemic but also a broken collarbone from a crash in Arlington in February, retired from the race after the crash. He was seen walking from the track holding his back but tests confirmed he suffered no serious injuries. In an Instagram video posted after the race, AC said he has no hard feelings toward Cooper and although the impact has left him in some pain, he is ready for the next race on Wednesday.
