DRT Kawasaki team rider Wilson Todd made significant improvements over the course of the MXGP of Great Britain to finish 17th overall in MX2.
His weekend begun with 30th in timed practice and from there he improved with 21st in Race 1. Race 2 was better with Todd finishing 13th. His results were enough for 17th overall for the weekend.
On Instagram, Todd said ” I went to struggle town in practice and qualifying and Race 1 with my lack of bike time. Much better Race 2 started around 20th and come up to 13th but happy with the flow and fitness, was reeling in the six guys in front of me the last couple laps. It’s a starting point and we shall get better with some bike time.”
Todd is riding for the Southampton-based DRT Kawasaki team, the same team as defending WMX Champion Courtney Duncan.
