137kg Dakar-inspired machine targets lightweight adventure segment with serious off-road intent

Rieju is sharpening its focus on the lightweight adventure market with the soon-to-land Aventura Rally 307 – an enduro-based, rally-styled machine aimed squarely at riders who want genuine off-road ability.

Styled with clear rally-raid intent, the Aventura Rally 307 pairs a slim, purposeful silhouette with the kind of spec sheet that suggests it’s built to be ridden hard and ridden far. At the heart of the package is a modern 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke, producing 33.5bhp and 27Nm, and matched to a six-speed gearbox with an anti-rebound (slipper-style) clutch for added control when the terrain gets steep or slippery.

Underneath the rally bodywork, Rieju has gone with a high-strength steel spine/centre-spar chassis designed to balance durability with rideability. Suspension is equally adventure-ready: a 43mm upside-down fork up front with adjustment for compression and rebound, and a progressive rear shock adjustable for preload, compression and rebound. Travel is a proper 235mm at both ends, which should translate to real comfort and composure when the road turns into ruts, rocks and erosion mounds.

Wheel sizing sticks with the proven dirt-friendly combo of a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear (80/100-21 and 120/80-18), giving it the footprint and tyre choice riders expect from a bike that’s meant to leave the bitumen behind. Braking is handled by a 300mm front wave disc with a double-piston caliper and a 240mm rear wave disc.

One of the biggest talking points is range. The Aventura Rally 307 carries a substantial 21-litre fuel tank, making it a serious prospect for long-distance exploring where servos are few and far between.

Tech-wise, there’s a large 7-inch vertical TFT display with Mirror Link smartphone connectivity, bringing navigation and key ride info into a modern rally-style cockpit layout. It’s a feature that’s becoming increasingly relevant for adventure riders who rely on phone-based mapping but still want a clean, glanceable dash.

Despite its rally posture and long-range focus, the numbers suggest it’s still manageable in the garage and on the trail: dry weight is listed at 137kg, with an 890mm seat height and a 1420mm wheelbase. In other words, it reads like a proper off-road-capable adventure tool—rather than a touring bike wearing knobbies.

Rieju is encouraging interested riders to register for updates ahead of local availability and launch pricing.
