The first FIM SidecarCross and QuadCross of Nations will be held in Czech Republic on September 28-29, 2024.
The FIM is delighted to launch the first edition of the FIM SidecarCross of Nations and the FIM QuadCross of Nations in collaboration with APO Multimedia, the FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship Promoter. The inaugural event will take place at Loket, Czech Republic on the 28-29 September 2024.
Jorge Viegas, FIM President said: “Following the success of the Sidecarcross and Quadcross of European Nations and the interest from internationals team to take part in the Quad class in the last editions, the FIM and FIM Europe have agreed that the European Championships will be elevated to the FIM level as from 2024. We also hope to welcome a FIM QuadCross World Championship in a near future.”
Martin Beňa APO Multimedia CEO added: “We are very pleased that the SidecarCross and QuadCross of European Nations have been elevated to FIM World Championship status in both disciplines. This unique and exciting event brings together national quad and sidecar teams fighting for the pride and honour of their country.This is an event open to participation to teams from outside Europe, like Team USA, reigning QuadCross of European Nations champions, Team Argentina and others. This is a real milestone for us, our partners and, of course, for this event which brings together every year the best QuadCross and SideCarcross teams in the world in a fierce battle for the top step of the podium. I am sure that the event which will take place in Loket on the last weekend of September will constitute a breakthrough moment in the history of this sport.”
